ICS ASB is currently sponsoring a Giving Tree and a Toy Drive. A tree with tags on it to take and return with a gift, as well as a box for new toy donations are located in the hallway between the science rooms. Please feel free to take a tag and fulfill some foster child's wish, or donate a new toy.
2nd quarter Assembly will be on
Wednesday, November 30th, which will also be a spirit day so dress in school colors: black, crimson, and yellow.
The ASB's formal dance for grades 9-12 called the "
Winter Ball" takes place on
December 2nd, 8pm to 11pm at ICS. Prior to the dance, the committee holds an asking competition in which the winners will receive two free tickets. Email videos or pictures of your asking to
[email protected] for a chance to win. Tickets are $20 dollars per person.

Winter Ball Chaperones Needed
Parent Chaperones are needed for the Winter Ball on
Friday, December 2nd at ICS. The chaperone hours will be 7:00pm to 12:00am. Chaperones will monitor the
dance as well as help the students with set up and clean up. Please email
Mrs. Nelson if you wish to volunteer. The first six respondents will be the lucky ones!

Sign Up for the ICS Running Club - Parent Volunteers Needed
If you want to stay healthy, active and have a little fun, the ICS Running Club is the perfect opportunity. We'll meet at least twice a week as a group to go jogging-potentially more times a week depending on the number of student signups and parent volunteers. All fitness levels are welcome. We will start slow and build up our endurance. The goal is to prepare for running a 5K race as a group in the spring. Running in a race is not a requirement for participation in the club. Just coming to jog to stay in shape is a great goal.
Parents, we need more volunteers to help out running the club. It's a great and fun opportunity to check off volunteering hours. The more we are, the easier it will be to accommodate busy schedules while having great participation.

Volunteer needed to help in the ICS Office on Mondays
The ICS office is looking for help on
Monday mornings from 7:15 am - 9:30 am to answer phones and assist students and parents who come to the front desk. To ensure consistency, it would be best to have the same person volunteering each week and they have been an ICS parent for a few years so they are familiar with ICS and how it runs. Good communication skills and attention to detail are necessary. They would like to have someone ready to start on
Monday, December 5th.

Grant Application Forms Due December 1st
Grant application forms are now available to download from the ICSPTSA website under Forms and Documents/Grant Application Form and also found
here.
Any group, club or department may apply. Please return completed forms to the grant box in the PTSA room or office. Paper copies are also available in the office.
Forms must be submitted by December 1st and results will be announced by January 6th.

,10:00-11:00 am (immediately following the council membership meeting). Check out the details of the new and improved event!
