Embassy of India, in collaboration with United States Postal Service, organized a ceremony to dedicate the Diwali Forever Stamp as part of the Diwali celebrations at the Embassy on November 18, 2016. Ambassador Navtej Sarna and Mr Ronald Stroman, Dy Postmaster General and Chief Government Relations Officer unveiled the Diwali Forever Stamp during the event which was attended by members of Indian American Community, Administration Officials, Congressional Staffers, Senior Officials of USPS and the Press Corps.

2. The Diwali Forever Stamp was formally launched by the United States Postal Service in October this year after sustained work by members of the Indian Community, Embassy of India and United States Postal Service with active support from the Administration and Congress. During the dedication ceremony, Ambassador Sarna and Mr Stroman outlined the essence of Diwali and acknowledged the efforts of all concerned in realizing a long cherished dream of a Diwali Stamp.
