You sleep on sheets every night. Maybe make your bed every morning and hopefully change your sheets once a week. Putting the sheets back on the bed after laundering seems to be a small challenge for most folks... wrong size sheets, fitted sheets going in the short direction and having to start over. How could this be so hard? It isn't...you just never noticed that there was a very easy solution. Here's the skinny:

Fitted sheets have a tag sewn into a corner. When making the bed start with the tag in the bottom right corner and then move around the bed to the other corners.

Flat sheets should be placed with the good side facing down towards the mattress. When you get into the bed you are sandwiched between the two decorative sides of the sheets and when you turn down the top cuff of the sheet, the decorative print will show.

If you have several different size sheet sets - twin, double, queen or king - take a sharpie and label the fitted sheet in the same corner as the tag with the size such as T, D, Q or K, or write the room that sheet set belongs to such as GR (guest room). No one will ever see your marking as it is at the bottom of the fitted bed sheet and tucked under the mattress.

Now that you see how easy it is maybe you will change your sheets more frequently because there is nothing like getting into a freshly made bed.
