Our November 2016 Visit to South Carolina!

Hello all,

It was just earlier in this month of November that I had the privilege and pleasure to present in seven schools in South Carolina, also known as the "Palmetto State."

Among the schools were the Hammond School, Newberry College, Swansea High School, Swansea Freshman Academy, Bamberg-Ehrhardt Middle and High Schools, Orangeburg Preparatory School, and Northwood Academy.

The students were both receptive and responsive to the difficult subject of the Holocaust. I am so pleased that they will help in passing the legacy of the Holocaust on to so many others in their schools and communities. I wish to thank the teachers, principals, and headmasters, who made this visit a reality. Thank you, Nathaniel, for taking the many photos.

In my next newsletter, I hope to share my visit to schools in eastern Pennsylvania, including the towns of Norristown, Downingtown, Exton, and Lancaster. Traveling on 30 West from Exton to Lancaster was a particularly beautiful route, passing many Amish farms and seeing the beautiful pastoral scenery. The red barns, cows, horses, and buggies that we saw seemed to have come right out of a beautiful painting. It was just so very peaceful.

Many hugs, Marion.
