Celebrate 200 Years of Hoosier Holidays with "Sweet (and Savory) Sixteens" at our 10th Annual Holiday Tea & Fashion Show on Friday, December 2, 2016.

The event is a major fundraiser for the General Lew Wallace Study & Museum and is hosted at both at the Elston Homestead and the Lane Place.

Visitors may attend the holiday event any time between 3:00 and 6:00pm.

The Study will be closed Saturdays in December. Friday, December 9 is the last day of the 2016 season.

A collaboration with Chicago-based drummer, percussionist and composer Tim Daisy, who works in the fields of improvised and composed music. They'll play Sabrina Lastman's compositions -influenced by contemporary jazz, Spanish & Latin American music- as well as music by Theo Bleckmann, and jazz standards in a more experimental way.

Illiana Antique Power Association presents its yearly,"Christmas in the Village" at our Showgrounds on Briscoe Road, east of Rainsville, IN:  Friday & Saturday, December 2nd & 3rd

The fun-family event is free and Santa Claus is the honored guest. Strolling carolers, warm cookies, and hot chocolate will be offered in our miniature village.

Non-perishable items will be accepted for donation to the Warren County Food Pantry.

The 83rd annual Purdue Christmas Show will take place on December 3-4 in Elliott Hall of Music.

Students from Purdue Musical Organizations will be joined by special guests, the Purdue "All-American" Marching Band.

Lafayette Lacemakers Inc will be demonstrating at Dickens of a Christmas, Saturday, December 3, from 10:00 to 4:00.

We will be in the window at Lafayette Brewing Company, 622 Main Street demonstrating different lace-making techniques, including bobbin lace and tatting.

The show opens with a Jingle Bells Christmas medley. Singing classic tunes from the 50's and early 60's, featuring their signature harmony.

Wabash College:  49th Annual Christmas Festival of Music & Readings

Wednesday, December 7, 8pm
Pioneer Chapel

The Christmas Festival, which started at Wabash in 1968, alternates performance of musical numbers, congregational hymns and carols, and readings from the Bible.

It is modeled on the King's College Festival of Lessons and Carols at Cambridge University in England.

The musical prelude begins at 7:30pm; program starts at 8pm.
