House Panel Refers Prosecution for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast
|
NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. House of Representatives Select Panel on Infant Lives has reportedly released a list of nine criminal and regulatory referrals against abortion providers and fetal tissue procurement companies resulting from its investigation into the illegal practice of selling aborted baby remains for profit. Among those referrals is one to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton regarding Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. The criminal referral reportedly alleges that PPGC broke the law when it sold aborted baby remains for profit to the University of Texas. Benjamin Clapper, Executive Director of Louisiana Right To Life, said: "Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, the same organization seeking a license to sell 2,844 more abortions a year in New Orleans, has a criminal referral claiming they have sold the body parts of aborted babies for profit. We encourage the Texas Attorney General to further investigate and prosecute. This is one more reason why the people of Louisiana do not want to provide our tax dollars to the Planned Parenthood abortion business. Louisiana needs peace, not more abortion."
