Commissioner Carol Gladstone and the entire DCAMM team spoke to a full-house on October 21, 2016 for Conversations With...a monthly program held at the AGC MA Wellesley office. Attendees were provided with information on projects, operations, prequalification, procurement, bidding and more.

The AGC MA Building Women in Construction Committee (BWiC) would like to once again thank Lt. Governor Karyn Polito for an on point and inspiring program on October 26 th , 2016 at the UMass Club.

Discussion included her thoughts on work force development, personal career challenges and successes, best practices and overall insight on the important roles women play in the construction industry.

AGC continues the monthly series featuring various women working in the construction industry in Massachusetts to serve as a learning platform for aspiring students and industry colleagues. The profiles share the challenges women face in a male -dominated work-place, best practices, success stories and more. This months profiles feature Danielle (Arciero) O'Connell,  Manager, Design Technologies Integration at Massachusetts Port Authority  and Haylee Bacik, Project Engineer, Gilbane Building Company.

WELCOME KARA MORGAN, NEW ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER

On November 7, 2016 AGC MA was pleased to welcome Kara Morgan as the newest member to the AGC staff. 

With a BA from Bay State College, Kara is an e xperienced office manager with executive management and marketing skills, most recently in the real estate trade association industry. 

Kara has already attended several AGC meetings and events and looks forward to engaging with and learning about as many members as she can.

Greater Boston Code Consultants is one of the only schools in Massachusetts that will provide you with computer based practice exams.  It only makes sense.  If you are going to take your exam on a computer, you should practice in that same environment.
