Donor Spotlight
Prabhat Jain

Prabhat Jain believes strongly in giving back to the community. Prabhat, CEO of Virginia Transformer Corporation, believes the United States is falling behind other countries in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and in order to meet the challenges of the 21st century we must harness the energy and creativity of all our citizens. This belief fuels his commitment to sharing his good fortune with people who have disadvantages and are willing to work hard to advance. He feels that until our education system catches up to that in Japan, Germany and Korea, the U.S. needs to allow immigration of science and technology graduates. Prabhat states, "There are 2.5 million new jobs each year in the United States and 1.0 million jobs in science and technology are going unfilled. The annual quota of immigration for this category is only 60,000. We have been falling behind for 20 years and we cannot continue at this rate."
Together, We Are Stronger
A message from our President & CEO, Bruce Phipps

The past few months have been challenging for our nation. From the events in Charlottesville, to the devastating hurricanes, and now the tragedy in Las Vegas, it often seems hard to find a light of hope in the midst of all the sorrow.
