Staying involved in the Bloomington/Normal area, and beyond.
Where do you fit... Beyond the Bricks?

Welcome... to the latest issue of
Beyond the Bricks!

Dear Christian Friends,

Our children will return to Unit 5 and District 87 schools next week.  Soon Illinois Wesleyan University, Illinois State University, and Heartland Community College will start classes.  And we'll ask ourselves once more, "Where did the summer go?"

The start of a new school year signals that it's time for our annual Block Party.  The Block Party takes place this Saturday, from 9:00AM to noon, at our church.

The first notice below is about the Block Party.  We still need you to help this Saturday, and the notice contains a link for you to use to volunteer.  Even if you can't volunteer, please pray for this event.  It's one way that we serve our neighbors in Christ's name, and we want those who attend to know Jesus' love in this place.

Look over the other notices.  Maybe there's something here that you'll want to respond to.

And I'll see you Saturday at the Block Party!
Jim

Please consider supporting the event with a donation of money, baked goods, or school supplies.  Below is a link for signing up to volunteer or bring items.
