WTS-GNY NY FALL DINNER PROGRAM   

 Brooklyn Queens Connector  (BQX).   

   Speaker: Adam Giambrone, Director -BQX,             streetcar project  with the City of New York.

  Adam will discuss the engineering challenges and    proposed solutions to fitting in urban LRT into          the dense built-up neighborhoods of Brooklyn and    Queens.

  When built, the BQX will be unique in   combining   elements of traditional streetcars  with modern LRT to provide reliable and quick   surface transit north and south along the  Brooklyn and Queens waterfronts.
