"Next time we meet someone radically unlike us, we should try seeing difference not as a threat but as an enlarging possibility-creating gift"
~ Rabbi Jonathan Sacks

 Dear Community Member,

Good morning.

On Monday Federation's Israel & Overseas Committee members met with Ronen Weiss, the Jewish Agency for Israel's Regional Director of the South-Eastl, for an overseas briefing. Federation's relationship with the Jewish Agency includes Partnership2Gether (P2G) and our sister city in Arad as well as our shlichut program which brings Dana Berman to Delaware.

On Wednesday our Facilities Management Board (FMB) sub-committee met to review budgets and active projects to ensure our campus needs are continually met. That evening the Israel & Overseas Committee met to review upcoming programs and events that are being planned for the upcoming year. Please see the November 9th program flyer below in partnership with Jewish Family Services of Delaware.
