Gran Fondo is an Italian term which loosely translates to "Big Ride."  Gran Fondo's are mass participation cycling events that have enjoyed incredible popularity in Europe for decades and have become popular in North America, Asia, Australia and increasingly, worldwide. 1.     How long have you been a member of the Midway Chamber of Commerce?

Since 2006

2.       What aspects do you find the most beneficial?

Like most folks, the reason I joined initially was to expand my network and grow my business. I have also found value in the information provided at the monthly Economic Development meetings, as well as our themed events including the Economic Development Summit, Legislative & Leadership Summits. Over the years I have developed many strong relationships both professionally and personally and this is a Chamber that truly enjoys FUN!

3.       Do you have any Chamber moment which is especially memorable?

Some of our recent Annual Celebrations have been incredibly fun with the themes, costumes, cuisine & entertainment.

4.      How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

With my wife & son, fitness, golf, Gophers hoops, antiques, church activities, jazz & mentoring.

Cities1 was started by two lifelong friends during one of the coldest winters in Minnesota's history.  They began with not just a goal but a vision to change the industry for the better.  What began as simply a way to put food on their tables quickly changed to making the Twin Cities area a better place for their customers to live.

Now, they have transformed Cities1 from a small two man service company into a multi-million dollar company employing over 20 full time service technicians.  With well over 100 years of experience servicing the entire St. Paul and Minneapolis areas including all of the outlying suburbs they are definitely the company to put your trust in.

How long have  you been a member of the Midway Chamber of  Commerce?
Keystone has been a member of the Midway Chamber of Commerce for 28 years, since 1989.

What aspect of being a member do you find the most beneficial?
I truly enjoy meeting people from the business community & learning about the many businesses located or do business in the Midway area of St. Paul.  I am learning about the many issues facing businesses, including non-profits and welcome the opportunity to connect with so many dedicated business leaders.

Why did you decide to join the Ambassador Committee?
I am interested in meeting business leaders in our community, learning about their businesses and how they are connected to the Midway Chamber.  Being on the Ambassador Committee is an excellent way to make connections and become more knowledgeable about our business community.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
I like to spend my down time reading, listening to music (preferably outdoors), being active and spending time with family.
