Whenever possible, we share insights and lessons with our clients, partners, and peers. In the last few weeks, staff have been sharing and presenting from Brainerd to the Netherlands.

Christin Lindberg, Michelle Gerrard, Greg Owen, and Sarah Gehrig at the MN Coalition for the Homeless Conference
Michelle Gerrard and Greg Owen, MN Homeless Study co-directors, presented on youth and older adults experiencing homelessness during the MN Coalition for the Homeless Annual Conference in Brainerd. 

Paul Mattessich and Anna Bartholomay presented at the International Metropolis Conference at The Hague. They shared results of their research on developing effective services and supports for immigrants and refugees.

Laura Schauben presented on trauma-informed evaluation at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Annual Conference.

Nora Johnson
and Kristin Dillon presented results of a study on the mental health needs of Veterans in Minnesota at the 5th Annual Veterans Affairs Mental Health Summit in Minneapolis.


Two staff recently shared their insights with other researchers on the ever-useful AEA365 blog from the American Evaluation Association. Nicole MartinRogers wrote about Recruiting Study Participants from Under-Served Groups and Ryan Evans gave his thoughts on Deeply Involving Clients in Executing Evaluation Studies.
