CAIR-Cincinnati*, whose overall goal is to ensure that the rights guaranteed to everyone in this nation are enforced, provides the community access to specialized legal services focused on the Muslim community through CAIR's Free Brief Advice Legal Clinics. In addition, they empower these individuals by educating them on their legal rights and what the law says. The CAIR-Cincinnati clinic will provide free legal advice on issues such as civil rights, accommodations for school, accommodations for employment, housing, and immigration law. Many people have legal issues but find access to attorneys difficult. This clinic will enable people to talk to a lawyer about their legal issues briefly at no cost.

*CAIR or its chapters are independent organizations not affiliated with the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati or IEC. The freelegal clinics made accessible are the sole responsibility of CAIRand not in any way of ICGC or IEC.

Islamic Center In The News

Every community has a narra tive.  Either that community controls the narrative or the narrative cont rols the community.   Now more than ever the American Muslim community has to take control of the narrative. This can only be achieved if as a community we are building bridges and inroads with media.  Media outlets want to cover stories and do pieces that people are interested in. They want viewers, readers, comments, and discussions.  It is critical that as a community we are more visible and more vocal in the media.

We have been blessed for wide and positive coverage of the Center.  When there is positive coverage we must all give feedback and acknowledge and appreciate the work of the media. Please take a few minutes to review the media links and give positive feedback where you feel comfortable.
