"Thank you, Teacher. Your lecture today really touched me. I especially appreciated it when you told about your own struggles and discouragement in ministry when you were young... That's what I'm going through now. Your words really strengthened me."
(JM, M.Div. 2d year)
I arrived back in Myanmar on September 26. It's been nonstop ever since. Below is a simple list of how many individuals are being touched directly through our courses, sermons, and ministries, knowing that the real story is all the wonderful and life-changing ways God is working in their lives.

"Dear Dr. Tim. [I'm posting this photo] to show you
how you have inspired my entire life's view.
I want to say that when I grow up,
I want to be just like you.
Happy birthday to you, Dr. Tim!"
(Sa Samuel, MIT M.Div. graduate, class of 2017)
My cup is full and overflowing here in Myanmar. God is touching so many lives, and the response is truly moving day after day. Please pray that God will continue to bless my teaching and ministries this semester
in all the ways that fit with his good purposes for each student.
In addition, pray especially for God's working through me on Tuesday, October 24. I have been invited to offer a special two and half hour lecture and discussion session to 230 first year students in the liberal arts program, 25% of whom are Buddhists. The topic is, "The Christian Faith for Young People." This lecture will include a clear presentation of the Gospel and a compelling case for why Christian youth should devote their lives to Jesus Christ.
Your continued interest, prayers, and support enable us to do what we are doing, and to be able to do as much as we can do. If God so leads you, please consider joining our monthly donors club to help us with regular expenses that keep the ministry going and growing. Thank you!
Serving Christ with you,
Rev. Timothy C. Geoffrion, Ph.D., D.D.
President and Teaching Minister
P.S. For more insight into the present crisis (crises) in Myanmar, please seek me out individually, where I will be more free to speak candidly about what I'm learning here.
