Dear St. Serra Parents,

Our fall events have been an amazing success...and all because of YOU, our parents, who are giving their time, talent and treasure.  I would like to applaud our parent leaders and their teams of volunteers for sharing their caring heart, and creating amazing events for our students and families.  Each and every family's participation is valued and appreciated.

 

August: Our SerraStrong Welcome Event

Thank you to PTO VP Community, Stephanie Angelos, and Event Chair, Mrs. Melissa Singleton, whose vision and commitment made this year's "SerraStrong Welcome Event" a wonderful kick off to our new school year.  Families enjoyed the evening which began with a blessing by Fr. Duy, followed by a volunteer fair and to top it off, time to be together to enjoy a meal and watch the Bike Show!

September: Our St. Junipero Serra Golf Classic

With heartfelt appreciation to every participant and sponsor, which includes our St. Serra students, families, sponsors, tournament and dinner guests, I,  along with Mrs. Dana Maas, PTO President, are pleased to announce that our 22nd  Annual St. Serra Golf Classic raised over $84,000! Amazing participation created amazing results! We are again blessed this year as our golf proceeds exceeded our operating budget goal!

 

Thank you to our Event Chairs, Mr. Alan Zawistoski and Mr. Mike Ferletic, along with their PTO Vice President - Golf board member, Mrs. Courtnay Flick, and their dedicated committee for creating a beautiful day of golf and evening of fun for all who attended.

 

Thank you St. Serra students for every golf ball sold. Everyone's participation does make a difference!  It was so exciting to see the helicopter hover over the St. Serra field, drop hundreds of balls, and then wait in anticipation for the name of the family who would win $3,000!

 

These parent leaders modeled commitment, hard work and heartfelt care for our St. Serra students and our St. Serra community. Thank you for living our school year theme
