Greetings From Witness Protection
Miss Andrea recommends Greetings From Witness Protection by Jake Burt

When orphan Nicki gets booted from yet another foster home she is sure she will never find a home that will keep her. Then the U.S. government steps in. There is a family that desperately needs hiding as part of the witness protection program. In an effort to throw off the bad guys, Nicki is added to the family as "Charlotte". Charlotte tries to keep the family safe while arguing with her new brother, dealing with school, and trying to keep her kleptomania in check.

This is a fast paced read with lots of action at the end. Kids who like adventure stories and contemporary fiction will enjoy this. Jake Burt is a Connecticut author who just visited Wilton Library. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
