Pack a picnic, a blanket, some chairs, and come to the Fall Picnic on Friday, October 20th from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM at the Patton Street Campus (Please note that it's a true "picnic" style event - no tables or chairs will be set up, so please bring your own!)

There will be food and snacks for sale from Café La Liaison and the Grilling Shilling and Frencheeze food trucks, Dat Roll and macaroons from M. Sullivan.

This year, there will be one free serving of either hot dog and chips or vegetarian chili for each child in attendance.

DJ! Dance party! Face painting! Glow sticks! We'll also be collecting new or gently used nonfiction children's books for the Lycee library.

La Liaision, Lycee's PTO needs some helping hands to make the Fall picnic a success this year. The Fall picnic will be held on Friday, October 20th from 6pm-8:30pm at the Patton Street Campus. We need help with set up, clean up, and PTO concession sales.

Lycée will celebrate Halloween on T uesday, Oct. 31st.  Students may wear costumes to school.  Costumes may NOT include: 
  • Masks or Face paint 
  • Ghoulish or scary themes
  • Design that will impede independent use of the bathroom
  • Shoes other than those prescribed in the dress code.
Parents who don't want their children to take part in Halloween activities are asked to notify teachers in order for other arrangements to be made. Teachers have the option of throwing a short party at the end of the day for their students, they will notify parents of their plans.

The Annual Giving Campaign has begun and this year our goal to reach is $40,000. Donations of any size make a difference and allow us to maintain and create new Thinking Outside the Classroom projects! Please be sure to check students' backpacks for updates. To make donations click HERE.

Lycée is participating in the Tulane University Hurricane Irma Relief Supply Drive, which is focusing relief efforts on French-speaking Saint Martin. We will have physical collection boxes at both Patton and Johnson campuses.
The drive ends at the end of October.
Lets do our part to help the people of Saint Martin.

When: Wednesday Oct 25th 2017 from 6:30-8:00 PM
Where: 5951 Patton Street, in the school cafeteria
What is it: one hour presentation giving overview of what Lycee is and does, details about French and English curriculum, and basics about how to apply. 

Note: not required for the Admissions process, this meeting is geared towards prospective families looking to enroll. 

At this general PTO meeting there will be a presentation by school counselors about school policies, behavior charts and class Dojo. They will talk about bullying prevention. In addition, we will have our school specialist speak about "restorative circle practices" with students. There will be door prizes too!
 
WHO:   Open to all Lycee parents and guardians
WHEN:  Tuesday, October 24th, 2017. 6:00 - 6:30 PM Pre-Meeting Socializing with wine and snacks. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM.
WHERE:  Patton Street Campus Resto! cafeteria, 5951 Patton St.
WHY:   This is a great opportunity to meet other parents, learn about what the PTO does, and see how you can get involved with the upcoming Marche.

The 7 th Annual MARCHÉ D'HIVER  will be held on  Saturday, December 2 nd  from 10am - 4pm at the Priestly Campus . La Liaison is looking for businesses and families to be sponsors of this fantastic event!  We are also seeking volunteers for the big day, craft vendors and recipe submissions for the 2017-2018 LFNO Cookbook!
