PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
We are proud to announce our Open House for the upcoming school year's Preschool Registration. This is our opportunity to showcase the school to returning and prospective new parents who are looking for a vibrant, growth-oriented institution with whom to partner in their daughter's chinuch.

We extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you to visit the Park Heights rustic campus for a beautiful afternoon to learn more about Bais Yaakov's Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Kindergarten programs. Join us for a journey down the hallowed corridors of our building for a multi-sensory experience of "All Around The Community." We are confident you'll enjoy seeing our creative, talented and caring  Moros  in action as they greet and interact with your precious kinderlach.
GOVERNOR HOGAN PRAISES BAIS YAAKOV
At this week's bi-annual CAPE (Council of American Private Education) luncheon, led by Rabbi Ariel Sadwin, Rabbi Sanders had the opportunity to speak with Governor Larry Hogan about the potential for government funding of Pre-Kindergarten education to non-public school students in Maryland. During their conversation the Governor enthused, "My trip to Bais Yaakov last year was one of the highlights of my tenure as Governor. The spirit in your building was amazing!"

INCULCATING A LOVE FOR TEHILLIM
Our Second Grade students received their new Artscroll
Chinuch Tehillim this week. This year, the Sefrei Tehillim have been dedicated by Rabbi Tzvi and Mrs. Liora Rosen in memory of Mrs. Rosen's parents Shmuel ben Yosef Leib A"H and Chasida bas Mordechai A''H. We are grateful for this very special sponsorship. We look forward to infusing all of our talmidos with a deep love for Tehillim. Whenever a student completes the entire sefer at home, she earns a Malkas Tehillim crown and a Siyum is hosted at school together with family members!

WELCOME MORAH TRACEY
We welcome a new Title I Reading and Math tutor to our school, Mrs. Tracey Sacks. She has over 10 years of experience with Baltimore County Public Schools. In order to provide ongoing communication, Mrs. Sacks will be available for parents via the school office, will submit a written narrative for report cards and will be having meetings at PTA conferences.

CULTIVATING SOCIAL SKILLS IN YOUNG STUDENTS
Our school counselor, Mrs. Rachell Tajerstein, began working with our second grade girls to help them build social skills. The first unit directed them how to understand facial expressions.

UPGRADING OUR MATH CURRICULUM
The First and Second Grade Math teachers have been receiving training from
Dr. Jennifer Taylor Cox, a nationally recognized Math consultant, to ensure that our students have a greater understanding of Math.

We look forward to hosting two Mother & Daughter Math events on Sunday morning, December 3rd from 10-11:30 AM and on Tuesday evening, December 5th from 6:30-8PM. We are very excited to promote Math through fun games to help our girls understand how Math is relevant in their daily lives.
