Arizona’s unemployment rate came in at 4.7 percent last month, according to new data from the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity.

Arizona added 36,400 jobs in September. That is 6,000 more than the average gains for the month of September the past seven years.
The 4,500 people of the Mohave, Chemehuevi, Navajo and Hopi tribes who belong to the Colorado River Indian Tribes might eventually lease some of their share of the river's water to the rest of Arizona for the first time. The GSE explained that going into 2018, Fannie Mae predicts economic growth will moderate to 1.8%. While it sees an upside risk from potential tax reform, this is offset by the potential downside risk from restrictive trade policy and geopolitical tensions.
