Belong, Believe and Become is our 2017-2018 Youth Ministry theme.  As Lori, Scott and I discussed why we love St Gabriel we found that we all had the same reason....COMMUNITY!  While we each had a different story to share, the outcome was exactly the same.  We each felt like we belonged and we have this same desire for our youth, as well as for you!  When you feel like you belong you are able to hear the message that Jesus wants us to know of His amazing love for us.  And through this we can become His disciple and evangelize to others.  This is what we are called to do.  This is our journey and we are all on it together, but we are each at a different place on this journey and this makes our need for community even stronger.

I am just thrilled that you have discovered REACH.  This fellowship ministry was created to give your 3rd-5th grader a place to call their own.  A time to make friends and to learn about their faith all while having fun!  It is our goal for them to make St Gabriel a place to call home and not just one more place to go or one more thing to do.   We want them to have a relationship with each other, so they can have a relationship with God.  This is just the beginning of an amazing journey and I feel so blessed to be on the path with them and with you.

Our theme for REACH this year is Saints and Angels.  We want your child to understand who they are and the very special role they play in your child's life.  Our Catholic faith is so very unique and special and we want to embrace that by helping your child to learn that Catholicism is something that is for them everyday and not just something we do in a building on Sundays. It is our goal to help prepare them to tackle the everyday challenges they face through the eyes of the Church. They try to do this on their own using tools that society provides and we want to give them a new way to help lead them closer to Jesus.  The best way to do this is start at the beginning...making friends and having fun!
