November 2016

Thank you everyone who was able to join us for this year's volunteer recognition celebration!  It was a wonderful night full of delicious food, good friends and great music. Please watch for an online survey coming your way as we begin planning next year's celebration.

Bryce Nelson and Bob Skorjanc Honored with the Lori Kleiman Award at this Year's Volunteer Recognition Celebration

Lori Kleiman was one of RMHCCIN's highly valued and very special volunteers dating back to our opening in 1982. She was valued for her dedication to the RMHCCIN mission, her work ethic, generosity with her time and talent, creativity, energy, and most of all, her compassion. Since her passing, the RMHCCIN recognizes volunteers that most exemplify her dedication and values with this special award.

Michelle Study-Campbell

Bryce Nelson came to the House in January 2013 where he has served as a Guest Services Volunteer at Limestone ever since.  Bryce is always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty - he even shares his musical talent!  In past years, Bryce has coordinated benefit concerts on our behalf and will once again be singing at this year's Holiday Open House!
Bob Skorjanc has been a Guest Services Volunteer at the RMH at Riley since May 2010.  Bob is known for his enthusiasm which never fails and his willingness to do whatever is needed. He even views delivering pop tabs to Limestone and picking up supplies for RMH at Riley as an opportunity to earn steps on his Fitbit!

Congratulations and thank you gentlemen for your support of the House and the families we serve!

Mission Moment

"Thank you so much for providing a safe/close place for Lily to stay while we stayed with Dylan at Riley.  It meant the world to us to be able to have Lily close by and be able to visit us each and every day.  The pictures/videos we received of Lily having fun with the meal providers and activity providers in the evenings made our day.  So great to see her having a great time as we cared for Dylan.

Thanks so much,

Matt & Mindy Johnson."

  • Remember to thoroughly fill out the registration cards when doing a check-in, including your initials, guest signature, etc.
  • Calls for the RMHCCIN grants program should be directed to Lisa Lusk.
  • If someone asks about receiving our newsletter or would like to learn more about how they can help, please direct them to our website at www.rmhccin.org.
