After our AGM, attendees will be taking a tour and having lunch at
Garrison Petawawa, which will also include a visit to the Weapon Simulation Centre.
The 4th Canadian Division Support Base Petawawa, is a key partner in Petawawa and Renfrew County communities, offering numerous services and programs to the Petawawa community. This networking event will give Ontario East members the opportunity to see some of the investment the Canadian Government has made into defence, while gaining an understanding of the economic impact our military has on the region.

New Video Series Showcasing Local Craft Brewers
The Food and Beverage (FAB) Region partners are pleased to announce a new video series showcasing four craft brewers in their region -
555 Brewing Co., Bancroft Brewing Co., The Napanee Beer Company and
Wolfe Island Spring Craft Brewery. The videos may be viewed at
www.startabrewery.ca/. The goal of the video series is to raise awareness of the FAB Region through profiling some emerging craft breweries.

As of, September 6, 2017, the
Invest Canada-Community Initiatives
(ICCI) component of the
Global Markets Support Program
will be accepting applications from Canadian communities seeking financial support for their foreign direct investment initiatives for 2018.
Applications must be submitted
before 15:00 Ottawa time (Eastern Daylight Time), on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Communities must submit the final draft of their application by the deadline to be considered for funding.
