Our vision is to have a community where no kittens are born wild on the street, no cat  capable of living in a home is lacking one, and no feral cats are wanting for food, water,  and appropriate care and concern.
Thank you for thinking of us on #GivingTuesday!

You helped us exceed our goal by raising $2,730!!

Whether you have supported us for our efforts in TNR, rescue and adoptions, caretaker food support, cat advocacy or for the help we offer ill or injured cats, a million thanks for showing our work is important to you. Thank you!

Relocation Training (hands-on)

Occasionally cats have to be moved for their own safety. Relocation is always a last resort as it is difficult and time-consuming - and even when everything is done correctly, may not be successful. If proper protocols are not followed, the cats often perish in their attempt to return home or the resident cats at the new location run them off. Just dropping cats off is also "dumping" and is against the law. People may not realize they are harming the cats in their attempt to remove them - plus they do not know about the vacuum effect. If enough people are interested, SAFCC will arrange a training session to show how to relocate with the best chance of success. Included is preliminary planning, crate set-up and the equipment required, tips on helping the cat know his new place and how to convince resident cats that the newcomer is not an intruder. Please send an email HERE if you are interested and we can work out a time and place for a group to meet.

Pre-requisite: You must have already attended a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) class. The TNR class schedule can be viewed HERE.

Join us on December 15 for a great meal while fundraising for the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition. Present this FLYER when you dine in or take-out and 20% of your bill will be donated to SAFCC.

With two convenient locations, which one is closer to you?  California Pizza Kitchen (Huebner Oaks) or California Pizza Kitchen (Quarry)

This fundraiser occurs every Third Thursday at both California Pizza Kitchen locations. Enjoy a healthy meal while helping our community cats stay healthy!
Tails of Success

Deno was one of 18 starving kittens that were rescued as part of a TNR project. Despite already being overwhelmed with kittens, they were admitted to our Community Cat Adoption Program (CCAP) where they were provided with medical care, a safe place to stay with lots of love.

This week, Deno was adopted and now belongs to an awesome family! Thanks to the effort of our CCAP members and those who think of SAFCC when they adopt, we have one less kitten on the street and in his forever home!

Be a short-term foster

Would you like to help fostering without the long commitment? Would you like to give our Petco cubicle cats a break during the holiday season? Sign up to be a short term foster! As a short term foster you can hold a SAFCC cat/kitten for a predetermined amount of time. This enables us to give these cats a break from the cubicles and a chance to live in a home. While these cats are in your home, we can give other cats an opportunity for adoption in those cubicles.
