A new Young Onset Group starts on  Friday, October 20 at  6:00pm located at the  Fox & Hound - Mezzanine Room,  9239 Park Meadows Dr., Lone Tree.

NEW! Steamboat Springs Power Punch Parkinson's Class!

Our Steamboat Springs Power Punch class has a new time and location. The class has been moved to the Old Town Hot Springs and will be held on Saturdays at 11:30am.

Greenwood Village Power Punch Has Moved to New Location in Highlands Ranch

Our Greenwood Village Power Punch Parkinson's class has been moved to Highlands Ranch. The class will begin October 3rd and will be held on Tuesdays at 3:00pm.

We have a new Circuit Training class in Colorado Springs. The class is on Mondays at 10:00am.

Regi stration is required for ALL classes  and space is limited! Please show up a little before the start time of the class to get prepared for the class. Join us for the 4th Annual Ski for Parkinson's event to raise awareness of Parkinson's disease. This event also provides critical funding for our affiliate, the Yampa Valley Parkinson Support Network (YVPSN). The YVSPN provides programs and services free of charge to those living with Parkinson's and their care partners in the Yampa Valley communities. 

Event includes ski competitions, games, music, food, prizes and fun for all! 
Ski & Lunch: $75/person | S ki OR Lunch: $50/person

Speech Study Needs  Participants
SpeechVive is looking for people with Parkinson's disease and their caregivers to test interaction via the internet with the SpeechVive device.

The study is funded by the National Institutes of Health and is being conducted by SpeechVive, Inc. in collaboration with Jessica Huber at Purdue University.

Participation will include using the SpeechVive device for 3 months, interacting with a speech pathologist over the internet or in person, answering surveys and questionnaires and providing speech samples. You will also be asked to participate in a follow-up session 3 months after treatment ends. An honorarium of $200 is provided to participants and their caregivers at the end of the study. Join AARP Colorado for Still in the Game, by Robert F. Benjamin; an upbeat family drama about aging with grace, courage and humor. In this upbeat, humorous journey of a recent widower, David (age 70) strives to begin a new life chapter, having served well as caregiver for his wife who died of cancer. But he clashes with his grieving daughter Dawn, who feels guilt for not caregiving enough. Years later, David needs a caregiver. Dawn offers, as does David's new girlfriend. Realizing his need for "spiritual work," David drives to tour a residential hospice. En route, tension around his caregiver decision explodes during a bizarre encounter with a young policewoman. Dual Tasking Exercise Workshop
