Thoughts From Pastor Glen

Pastor Glen is on vacation...Thoughts From Pastor Glen will return next week!
Sunday Service Times Change This Weekend
Just a reminder starting this weekend, our Sunday Service times change to 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Shoebox Ministry Update
The Shoebox Ministry Project is wrapping up, and this team is seeking missing filled shoeboxes. 100 were given out, and 81 have been returned to date. We are needing the missing 19 to be filled and brought to the church as soon as possible. Thank you!
Parking Lot Closure
Our parking lot will be closed all day on Monday, October 30th, as it is being re-sealed and re-striped. As a result, our staff will be working from home that day, so the church and office will be closed on October 30th and will re-open at 8:00 a.m. on October 31st. Thank you!
On the weekend of November 4th-5th, during our 5:00 p.m, 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services, we will be celebrating All Saints' Day. This is an occasion to honor and remember those who have died since All Saints' Day 2016. We thought you would like to know about this special part of our services on November 4th & 5th. While the names are read, family members may come up and light a candle to honor their loved ones. We would be pleased if you or someone in your family is able to be present. Please indicate those you would like us to honor on November 4th & 5th, by adding their name(s) and your name to the sheets we have on the Narthex desk this weekend and next weekend.
** Congregational Meeting Topics **

1. Elect People To The Congregation Call Committee
2. Discuss Current Financial Situation And Future Projections
Update: Thank you to everyone that signed up to bring a dish for Pastor Glen's Retirement Roast. As I stated, we could not do this without your help. We still have a few more potato dishes that are needed.  Just a reminder that if you signed up for a food dish that is to be served hot, you will need to bring it in hot and ready to serve. Since this is a roast I want you to think of some fun times you have had with Pastor Glen to share during the festivities, so put your thinking caps on. -  Wendy Sontag
