Thank you, Mildred Russell and Robert Woody!
Today marks the final day of the terms of Mildred Russell and Robert Woody as State
Committeewoman and State Committeeman. They deserve all of our undying gratitude and respect for the job well done.
Mildred Russell has served as the State Committeewoman for Alachua County Republicans for the last 10 years. From 2000 to 2002, she served as Chairman of the Alachua County Republican Party, and in the years before that, she served as approximately 6 years in other board positions. In 2004, she served as the Alachua County Chair for the George Bush reelection campaign, and over the years, she has lead in building one of the best poll watching programs in the state. Mildred Russell always understood the purpose of the party and the good that it could do, and she always helped to make sure that it was on the right path.
Robert Woody has been the Alachua County Republican State Committeeman for about 17 years. In that time, Robert has brought a wealth of experience and leadership to the Alachua County Republican Party and to government, as a whole. Over the years, Robert has become a respected leader, around the state. Governor Scott appointed Robert to the Santa Fe College board as well as the Florida A&M University board. Robert has been a valuable friend and supporter. It has been my honor to work with him for the last 12 years.
You two have always continued to do what was right, for the Republican Party, to help it focus on its core mission.
Thank you!
