Nesman Receives Heritage Award
The story of a community is told through the documents and objects people leave behind but sadly, these are often dispersed over the years. In recognition of his efforts to bring these objects home and tell our story, the
Association for Rollinsford Culture and History (ARCH)
chose Robert Nesman as the recipient of the 2016 ARCH Heritage Award. Given annually to recognize significant contributions to the preservation of the history, heritage and culture of Rollinsford and the lower Salmon Falls Region, the award was presented to Nesman at the organization's annual dinner and auction.

NECU Supports Honor Flight New England
Northeast Credit Union (NECU)
is happy to continue their support for Honor Flight New England with a $5,000 donation. Honor Flight New England is a nonĀprofit that organizes trips specifically for New England Veterans to travel to Washington, D.C., so they can visit and reflect at the National Memorials at absolutely no cost to the Veterans.
The organization's most recent trip included 24 of our most senior veterans from New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Jersey. The oldest veteran on the trip was 96 years old. Also on board was a WWII nurse, who was a Prisoner of War and later awarded the Purple Heart. She had the opportunity to meet Medal of Honor recipient Ryan Pitts, from New Hampshire.

St. Thomas Names New Business Manager
Fergus Cullen has joined the
St. Thomas Aquinas High School
staff as business manager. Cullen's professional skills and business acumen have been honed and developed through his history of professional, public and private opportunities. Cullen is a 1994 graduate of Yale College with a bachelor of arts in history, and earned a Masters in Public Administration in 2002 from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Fisher Cats Name New Leadership Team
New Hampshire Fisher Cats
owner Art Solomon announced the new leadership team of New Hampshire's Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. Guiding the staff of nearly 20 full-time employees will be a talented and experienced group, including newly appointed President, Mike Ramshaw. Jim Flavin has been named the team's General Manager. Jenna Raizes will assume the role of Deputy General Manager.
This is the first time in the team's history that all members of the leadership team have roots in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

elebrating its 60th year of broadcasting on 1270 AM as Dover's hometown station, has added an FM signal and has beg
un broadcasting on 98.1 FM.
The station features continuous local news updates on the top stories from around the Granite State, anchored by 32-year station veteran Mike Pomp. Radio Hall of Fame broadcaster Howie Carr, continues as WTSN's afternoon host. WTSN also broadcasts local high school sports and remains the local affiliate for broadcasts of the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics.

Dover Children's Center Hosts Annual Holiday Parade
Crowds lined the streets of Dover for their annual holiday parade, which seems to get bigger every year. Helping to add to the parade this year were several new additions, including a convoy of six really big military trucks, much to the delight of boys big and small. Melissa Fischetto, Executive Director of
Dover Children's Center, hosts of the parade, said 16 floats were entered in the parade, including one with a live band.
