A Message From Mr. Stoops

I sincerely wish everyone a fun and relaxing fall break. Upon returning, we are only a few weeks away from the end of the first trimester, concluding on November 3, 2017. It has been an exciting beginning to this school year, full of many joyful noises, and I look forward to continuing the amazing accomplishments of our students and teachers as we move forward throughout the rest of the year.

Also, after fall break, our school resource officer will be working with the school and students in a few important areas. During the week of October 23-27, we will conduct a lockdown drill involving all students. Ahead of time, teachers will work to prepare students so they know how to appropriately respond if a situation occurred which necessitated a lockdown of our building/classrooms. The Guardian Angels staff was trained a few weeks ago on procedures and strategies, and will work with the students to ensure their safety. Our school resource officer will also be speaking to junior high students on respect. This is an important topic and characteristic which we work hard in teaching our students.

May you all experience many joyful noises through your children over fall break!

God Bless,
Corey
