NEW TEACHING SERIES: "DANCE MOVES"
BEGINS THIS SUNDAY!

Worship is like a dance that  God leads and we follow using a specific set of moves He teaches  us. Using the Book of Psalms as our guide, we'll explore several of these  different "moves" and practice them together.

So grab your dancing shoes and join  us this  Sunday, October 22, at 9:30 or 11:00 am as we kick off  "Dance Moves"!

A BIG THANK YOU . . . TO YOU!

Pastors Larry and Jordan want to say a big "Thank You!" to you, our hilariously generous church. As many of you know, over the last month or so, we've had a lot of changes, from updating the lobby and Worship Center to adding a second Sunday service and a new Grow Group hour. Put simply, we made these changes for the sake of furthering our mission of "inviting diverse and disconnected people to passionately follow Christ together."

We are extremely grateful for your support and the way God is blessing our efforts:
  • Over the last month or so, our average adult weekly attendance has increased by 7% compared to this time last year.
  • More people are attending our fall Grow Groups this year than last. In fact, over 533 people are engaged in a Grow Group weekly, and 94% of people joining us for worship on Sundays are attending a Grow Group each week. This is key because Grow Groups are where people get to dig into God's word, build true friendships, and train for our mission.
  • More than 70% of our attenders are actively serving each week inside and outside our walls by living "happily third."
  • Around 30% of our adults are actively building bridges with unreached people every week through our ministries like English as a Second Language (ESL), Big Hope Mentors at Tom Landry Elementary and Barbara Bush Middle Schools, and many others.
  • And we are praising God that we are on pace to baptize more people this year than we have in the previous three years combined!
Thank you again for your continued faithfulness and support of VRBC and our mission.
GROW GROUP EN ESPAÑOL
SUNDAYS AT 11:00 AM AT VRBC

If you know someone who prefers to speak Spanish when digging into God's Word and building true friendships, invite them to our Grow Group for native Spanish speakers!  Led by Arnoldo and Dora Rocha, Alexy Soto, and Joey Starling, this Grow Group meets every Sunday morning in Room 237, and all discussion is in Spanish.

INVITE OPPORTUNITY!
Invitation cards to the Spanish-speaking Grow Group and to our church services are available at the Welcome Center and at the reception desk to make it easy for you to invite Spanish-speaking friends and neighbors to come to VRBC!
