Holy Family Alumni Association to host
3rd Annual Quizzo Night!
Friday, November 3, 2017 at 7pm Cannstatter Volksfest-Verein 9130 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19114
Quizzo is a game of trivia, played in team format. Teams for this event may include two to ten people. Tickets cost $30 per person and include a dinner buffet, draft beer, wine, soda, dessert, and quizzo games with CASH prizes.
There will also be chances to win a 50/50, door prizes, raffle baskets, and a grand prize of Disney tickets! All event proceeds benefit the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
This event is open to all Holy Family University Alumni, family and friends. Must be 21 years of age or older. Purchase tickets online at holyfamily.edu/alumniquizzo or contact 267-341-5017.

7th Annual Nursing Alumni Reunion and
Distinguished Lecture Program

All are welcome to attend this special nursing alumni reunion event and presentation, "Navigating the Mountain: Successful Aging along the Continuum of Care" by Kris L. Mauk, PhD, DNP, RN, CRRN, GCNS-BC, GNP-BC, ACHPN, FAAN.
This event is sponsored by:
Fox Chase Cancer Center, Bayada Nursing, Delta Tau Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing & Holy Family's Alumni Association.
*One continuing education hour will be given to all registered nurses who attend the lecture.

Homecoming 2017 was a fun-filled day
for everyone!
Thank you to the hundreds of alumni, students, faculty staff, and community members who attended Homecoming 2017! The day featured men's and women's soccer games (Holy Family won both games in Overtime!), a special Mass with Father Mac and Father Al Smith, student-run carnival games,
inflatable fun, food trucks, and the first ever Alumni beer garden!

Holy Family hosted the 29th Annual Golf Classic on October 4 at The Union League Golf Club at Torresdale. Sixty golfers enjoyed a beautiful day and our students were the beneficiary of their generous support. Please save the date of June 5, 2019 for the 30th Annual Golf Classic.

Campus News
- Holy Family University is pleased to announce five new additions to the Board of Trustees. With expertise in corporate America, healthcare, and CSFN initiatives, the new trustees are a diverse group that will continue to move forward with the governance of the University. Read more here.
- The School of Business Administration announced its latest program offering - a fully online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree. Set to launch in Fall 2018, the program will feature eight-week terms with a three-year anticipated completion period.Read more here.
- Campus Ministry Help Clean Out Convent for the Sisters of Life.Students from Holy Family's Campus Ministry joined a number of local community members on Saturday, September 23 to assist the Sisters of Life with their upcoming move to a new convent in North Philadelphia. Read more here.
- Dr. Robert Ficociello, Assistant Professor in the School of Arts and Sciences, co-authored a book,America's Disaster Culture: The Production of Natural Disasters in Literature and Pop Culture. The book is built on the premise that a natural disaster is a commodity produced for public consumption, and in turn, can be used for profit. Read more here.
- Holy Family University Women's Volleyball hosted an alumni event on October 14-15. In attendance were alums Mackenzie Bickes '13, Devyn Ingram '15, Emma Herring '17, Sarah Ambach '14, Rachel Johnson '16, Katelyn Scherber '17 and Cara Przybylowicz '13. Go Tigers! Read more here.

Holy Family University Family Center is proud to announce four new workshops, offered at no cost to the entire campus and alumni community.
All sessions promote the "Value of Family" and take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays throughout October and November 2017.
