Every year for the last 5+, Jamie and I champion Breast Cancer Awareness in honor of our mother, a proud survivor.  In light of all that is going on in the world around us, we feel strongly that we can all do  that much more for each other and the causes we believe in.
 
The Susan G. Komen foundation helped to isolate the "cocktail" used to fight my mother's particular cancer.  Privately, we host a yearly event for local friends and family to show support by getting a pink hair extension! Last week, we raised $4K in about 4 hours... and our community is proudly wearing hot pink streaks to show their like-minded unity and support of our cause!

Our Long Island-based freight/logistics client is seeking a Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant. This position would begin ASAP as a temp assignment and has the likelihood of turning perm. The Junior Accountant will ensure that the bookkeeping functions which support individual departments and the company as a whole are executed in a precise and detailed manner, accurately, and promptly. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, have strong Excel skills and knowledge, and be detail oriented. QuickBooks is a must! We expect the salary upon hire to be $45K.

Our North/Central New Jersey client, a private home fashions company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their team. The AP Analyst will be responsible for receiving and verifying invoices, paying vendors, and processing payments. The ideal candidate will reside within an hour of the job, have a minimum of two years of experience, and have a four year and accounting degree. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Navision Software) is a plus. We expect the salary to be $45-48K.

Our North/Central New Jersey client, a private home fashions company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team. Qualified candidates will be responsible for researching and resolving outstanding non-payment issues and generating accrual reports in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a positive attitude, have strong organizational skills, and have the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to success in this role. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are a MUST. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) is a PLUS. We expect the salary to be $45-55K.

Our North/Central New Jersey client, a private home fashions company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the month end close process, reconciling bank accounts, assisting in inventory valuation, performing account analysis, and more! Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, experience with accounting software systems, and advanced knowledge of Excel and Word. We expect the salary to be $55-65K.

ADMINISTRATIVE
Our NYC client is seeking an Assistant! The ideal candidate will love to write, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be an energetic team player with strong attention to detail. The Team Assistant will support communications, scheduling, researching, organizing, and more. Interest in fashion, media, and all things pop culture and trending is a must! We expect the salary to be about $30K. 

Our NYC client, a well renowned Art and Design University, is seeking a Freelance Office Assistant to assist in their financial aid office. The Office Assistant will primarily be responsible for office communications (telephone, e-mail, and in-person) as well as clerical support for the office. We expect this assignment to last through the end of this year. Financial aid or bursar office experience is a must! Familiarity with Datatel software is preferred. We expect the hourly rate to be $17/hr.

Our client, a NYC fashion company, is seeking an Executive Legal Assistant to join their team and provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President and General Counsel. The ideal candidate will be a legal executive who is comfortable in a fashion environment as well as be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, be resourceful, and be able to partner with cross-functional departments. This position has the potential to be either temp to perm or a straight perm hire. We expect the hourly rate to be $30-34/hr and the salary to be around $90K.

COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC RELATIONS
Our client, a  NYC  fashion company, is seeking a  Freelance  Communications Coordinator  with  1-2 years of experience  to join their team. The Communications Coordinator will provide support with expenses, organizing and preparing for meetings as well as sitting in and taking notes, competitive research, and supporting with internal promotional campaigns (esp. with launching platforms). The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, have a go-with-the-flow attitude, be resourceful, and be able to meet deadlines. This position would start ASAP and be a full time position. We expect the hourly rate to be  $17-19/hr.

Our client, a NYC-based boutique PR agency, is seeking a Freelance PR Account Executive to join their team. They are looking for a self-starter with strong public relations skills and contacts to represent various high-profile bars, restaurants, personalities, and spirits brands. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of PR experience, strong media contacts and relationships/pitching skills, and excels in multi-tasking. Experience in wine/spirits preferred but not required. This position will likely begin as part-time and freelance with the potential to become more.  We expect the salary to be based on experience.

Our client, a NYC public relations agency, is seeking a Senior Account Executive with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join their team. The right fit will be action-oriented, organized, and have strong time management and project management skills. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for managing accounts, developing strategic and creative projects, and possessing an in-depth knowledge of client's business, products, markets, and influencers. Directors must strive to exceed client expectations, evidenced by feedback and account growth. They must also establish strategy and guide implementation of integrated marketing & communications programs across specific accounts. The Director will be responsible for high performing teams with ongoing improvement in each team member. The ideal candidate will possess strategic problem solving skills, be straightforward in giving direction, have strong business development skills, and have strong knowledge of media landscape and extensive media relationships across digital and traditional media platforms. At least 4 years of supervisory experience and strong technical knowledge of the digital development process is critical. We expect the salary to be BOE.

Our client, a Long Island based footwear company, is seeking a Product Builder to join their team. The ideal candidate will have about 1-2 years of experience and be proficient in Adobe Illustrator. Footwear experience is preferred, but not required. We expect the salary to be around $35-45K.

Our client, a  NYC based private label women's footwear company, is seeking an entry level Footwear Design Assistant  to join their team. The Design Assistant should be skilled in hand sketching as well as Illustrator and additional Adobe programs. Excellent CAD skills are a must! Footwear experience is a plus. We expect the salary to be  $40K.

Our client, a Long Island based footwear company, is seeking a Line Builder to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience and be proficient in Adobe Illustrator. Footwear experience is preferred, but not required. We expect the salary to be around $45-65K.

Our client, a NYC fashion company, is seeking a Freelance Designer to join their team. This assignment will begin at the end of October/beginning of November and last for a duration of 12-14 weeks. The ideal candidate will be excellent with Illustrator and Photoshop. CAD experience is a must! We expect the hourly rate to be $25-28/hr.

Our Long Island client, an E-commerce footwear company, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing new site pages, banner ads, social media content, and email newsletters. This position will also be encouraged to identify and propose new opportunities for the brand in order to improve site experience and usability as well as conversion rate. Ideal candidate is detail oriented and can handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, interaction design, and web and mobile standards is a MUST! The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, prior web experience, and copywriting experience. Our client, a  NYC  based home textile and accessories company, is seeking a  Production Manager  to join their accessories division. The Production Manager will be responsible for creating & implementing strategies that decrease expenditures, improve efficiencies, and ensure timely delivery of product throughout the supply chain portfolio. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a team player, and able to work on multiple projects. While this position is based out of NYC, travel to Long Island will be required 1-2 times a week. Travel to China is also required 2-3 times a year. We expect the salary to be  $100-125K.

HR & RECRUITING
Our NYC client is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to join their Talent Acquisition team. This position will be part time working about 20-25 hours a week. Responsibilities include scheduling candidate interviews, maintaining applicant files, assisting in the preparation of job postings, and managing recruiting postings. Other administrative duties include managing calendars, completing expense reports, and booking travel. The Recruiting Assistant will meet and greet candidates who are interviewing and act as an ambassador of the talent team by helping to facilitate a pleasant candidate experience at all levels. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in administrative support, have strong communication skills, and be able to work well in a team environment. 1 year of experience working with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred. We expect the hourly rate to be $18-19/hr.

Our NYC client is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join their Employee Benefits Department. The position will focus on providing superior customer service to all members of the organization with a high degree of confidentially. The Coordinator will focus on processing and updating benefits data for employees. High proficiency in the Lawson HRIS database is preferred. The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience & data entry work in a benefits or healthcare setting. We expect the salary to be $45-50K.

Our NYC based global alternative asset managing client is seeking a  Senior Payroll Administrator with at least five years of experience to join their Finance and Payroll teams. This position is responsible for receiving, assessing and validating employee changes, and entering pay changes for the US region. The Senior Payroll Administrators will also be responsible for overseeing bi-weekly payroll processing, creating semi-annual and annual performance reviews, answering general and HR inquiries, and touching on auditing as well. The ideal candidate will be open minded and adaptable to changing environments, have advanced Excel skills, be detail oriented and an analytical problem solver, and be a well-spoken customer service professional. Experience in any HRA system and APA certification (FPC) is preferred. Experience with Workday as well as time keeping and union experience is a plus. We expect the salary to be $75-95K + Bonus.

Director of HR  to join their  NYC  team. The Director of HR will be responsible for managing, developing, implementing, and coordinating all HR initiatives, projects, and programs. This includes  employee relations, compensation, recruitment, performance management, talent management, and training & development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of HR Generalist experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to coach and lead senior managers. Experience supporting retail is a MUST! Union experience is a PLUS! We expect the salary to be  up to  $170K plus bonus. 

PLANNING & MERCHANDISING
Our client, a NYC fashion company, is seeking a Freelance Retail Planner/Analyst to join their men's sportswear team. Working with the sales team, this position will be responsible for being a key driver in the growth of the brand in both sales and profitability, while keeping in mind wholesale goals through analysis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in wholesale planning, be skilled in strategic forecasting and financial planning, and have strong retail math skills. We expect the hourly rate to be $34-38/hr. We expect this assignment to last about 4 months.

Our client, a NJ-based consumer goods company, is seeking a Merchandiser to join their handbag division on a consulting basis. Initially, this position may be full time, but has flexibility to be part time. This position will be responsible for assisting with sku planning, creating and maintaining merchandise/design calendar, managing style numbering process, generating line sheets, and organizing and facilitating with buy information from sale to production. The ideal candidate will be experienced and have strong managerial and organizational skills. We expect the hourly rate to be about $37-46/hr. 

Our client, a NJ-based consumer goods company, is seeking a Planner to join their baby division. The Planner will be responsible for the coordination of inventory planning and account management functions for all major Big Box Retailers. The Planner will also work with the Sales Team and key retail associates to develop successful strategies for effectively executing new modular rollouts at store level.  We expect the salary to be $80-100K.

SALES
Our  NYC  fashion client is seeking a  Key-holder  to join their team! The main responsibilities will include ensuring customer's needs are met, resolving service issues, ensuring the presentation of the product is of a high standard, and driving sales. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and have at least 2 years of retail experience. Experience in luxury and footwear is a plus! We expect the salary to be  $19/hr plus commission. 

Our NYC client, a luxury online retailer, is seeking a Temp to Perm Inside Sales Representative to join their team! The Sales Representative will be responsible for assisting customers and actively developing a client base and building relationships with both. The Sales Rep will regularly be in contact with clients regarding new products and events as well as will provide outstanding customer service to customers while possessing strong product knowledge. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in retail sales as well as have excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in fine jewelry and/or luxury goods is a must. This is a temp position with the likelihood of turning perm in 2-3 months. We expect the hourly rate to be BOE, with a salary of $45-55K once it turns perm.
