It was so nice to see all of our students and staff back in action last week! Students and staff are already engaged in meaningful content lessons while also planning team-building and rapport building activities!
We have just a few reminders/announcements for our parents as we gear up for week 2 here at LBMS. First, this is a friendly reminder that the doors to LBMS will unlock at 8:00am daily. If your student needs to consistently arrive earlier than that, please contact Nancy English (englishn@wlake.org) to sign your student up for Club W. Club W will allow you to drop your child off as early as 6:30am. Also, a student is more than welcome to make plans with individual teachers for additional assistance in the morning. Once that is prearranged between the student and the teacher, the teacher will meet your student at the door at your planned meeting time to let him/her in the building. Please know that these arrangements have been put in place for the safety of your children as students need to be supervised when in the building. Second, I've received many inquiries as to whether or not your student will be receiving a school issued planner. The answer is YES! We ran in to some production issues but they are in production and on the way. We are hoping to have them by the end of the week (fingers crossed!). I apologize for the delay in delivery.
Lastly, a huge thank you to all of you for your patience as we finalized student schedules throughout the week. Schedules are now finalized and everyone is settling in to their routine nicely! Should you have any scheduling concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your child's counselor. We are ready and excited for our second week here at LBMS!

WDAB asks it's members to cover 2 concession shifts each year. Please help us cover shifts for our Fall events at Reed Field.

Volunteer Now - We are in need of volunteers to help in the concession stand for the fall football season. Our greatest need is for Friday night football games. LBMS and DIS parents - this is a great way to get involved. Proceeds from sales benefit all students in music programs across the district pre-k through high school. Thanks for your help!
