BOY SCOUT HOLIDAY BISTRO FEATURES FOOD AND FUN

A tasty and entertaining way to fund successful futures for youth in Flint's urban core happens on December 1 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club.
The Boy Scout Holiday Bistro Fundraiser, hosted by the Water and Woods Field Service Council, will feature food stations, including a made-to-order pasta station; wine tastings; live music; and a silent auction.  There also will be a pair of ¾ carat diamond earrings, donated by J. Thomas Jewelers, up for grabs during a "Bling Off".

Proceeds from the Bistro will fund the Urban Scouting Program in Flint which currently serves more than 1,200 boys in the city of Flint free of charge.  The initiative provides an opportunity for at-risk youth to be Boy Scouts and learn leadership and life skills that will prepare them for future success in all areas of their lives.

Tickets for the Bistro, which is sponsored by Koegel Meats, Mr. & Mrs. Jim Smithwick, Elga Credit Union, American Solutions for Business and Sallie Sweet Treats are $75 per person.  Tables of eight are available for $500.  All members of the public are encouraged and welcome to attend.
