Architects from Hutteball & Oremus Architecture answered questions and showed off the design for the new elementary school planned for the Zenith site in Des Moines during an October 5 community meeting at Des Moines Elementary.

Project staff updated community members on the timeline for opening the new elementary school and the status of boundary review.

The design plans are posted on our website.

We appreciate the community members who volunteered to serve on the naming committees for the new middle school and the new elementary school.

The work of each committee will include community outreach and discussions that result in a list of three to five names to submit to the school board.

See the naming committee members on our website.
