By now you know, Hurricane Harvey made landfall this past weekend in Texas, marking the first time in more than 12 years that a major category hurricane has hit the United States. This storm was strong - category 4 - and slow moving, having now stalled over parts of south Texas and bringing with it catastrophic rainfall to the Houston metropolitan area, the nation's fourth largest city. In the path of its destruction, millions of people and communities in disarray.
