#TheMidasTouch: More Prosperous Communities

Thank you for making our Assets & Opportunity Reception a success. Our October 4th event highlighted the expertise, commitment, and passion across our collaborative to create a better tomorrow for Massachusetts families.

By building assets, engaging in quality financial coaching and planning, and more, households working with Midas are moving from making ends meet to achieving their aspirations. We are proud of our work this year to equip families with the tools to succeed. Yet to improve the health of all families, our reach has to expand.

"We seek to change public policy discussions at the state and federal level by changing the narrative around financial stability and adding a framework of health. We know that improving policy affects us all. A healthy Commonwealth relies on financially healthy people," said Allison Bovell-Ammon, accepting on behalf of our 2017 champion, Boston Medical Center.

"Our work across the Commonwealth is more important now than ever. We have strengthened our partnerships with organizations that are moving in new directions in the field and pushing for legislation to reduce debt collection abuses hurting our most vulnerable," said Pam Hoffman, Midas' executive director.

Collaboration is key to achieving our vision, and with our growing member and partner network, we are confident that together we will create more prosperous communities.

Thank you to our champion sponsor, Mr. Cooper, who has been
leading in hurricane relief efforts.
