Cape Arts & Entertainment names new
President & CEO
A seasoned non-profit executive and passionate, professionally trained musician has been tapped to be President and CEO of Cape Arts & Entertainment, the parent organization of the Cape Symphony & Conservatory. Jonathan Kaledin, who is originally from the Boston area and summered for years on Cape Cod, will officially start on October 16, 2017. Read more here. 
Cape Cod Chamber hires Liz DiGirolamo as Membership and Sales Manager
The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce has hired Liz DiGirolamo as Membership and Sales Manager. DiGirolamo's previous experience includes a position servicing key accounts for Cape Cod Media Group, and experience in business development, human resources, hospitality and service industries both here on Cape Cod and the Boston area. CCIAOR releases September 2017 Cape Cod
real estate statistics
According to preliminary data released last week by the Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, 467 homes sold in September, 356 single-family homes and 111 condominiums. Median sales price was $425,000 for single-family homes and $286,500 for condominiums . Read more here.

A study from Council of Non Profits found that there are over 1.5 million registered not-for-profit organizations in the United States, and that number is growing steadily each year. Their findings also indicated not-for-profits contribute significantly to the economy, with almost 10 percent of all U.S. wages and salaries coming from these organizations .
