Transitions
Dear Parishioners of St. Peter's,

Rev. Lloyd and her family will be moving their belongings into the Rectory this week so we are busy with last minute cleaning and touching up of paint. Thanks to our Junior Warden, Bruce Kirby, and the many folks who helped paint, clean up and perform handyman tasks, the Rectory is now looking presentable.

We all are excited about our new priest-in-charge and her new ministry with us, but please remember that her service at St. Peter's doesn't begin until November 8th. During this "interim" time the Lloyds will be traveling back and forth to New York and will be getting settled and familiarizing themselves with the Poolesville area.

Prior to Rev. Lloyd's arrival, we need to be thinking about our stewardship campaign. Our theme for this campaign is " Our Future. Our Faith. Our Time ." We as parishioners of St. Peter's provide the resources  to support a church growing in love, in service, in prayer and in outreach. We provide resources to support a church that bears the fruits of the Holy Spirit, a church that takes care of the flock entrusted to us by God.

Our Future. Our Faith. Our Time.

Faithfully,
Mary Pat Wilson
Making a Difference
Early Childhood Program Begins Today!

Today Saint Peter's ministry for young families and children, our Early Childhood Program, is able to officially open our doors! The Office of Childcare granted our license last week. Thank you to the parents who were understanding and supportive during our delays.  Thanksto the efforts of our staff and Board of Advisors, St. Peters Early Childhood  Program is able to proceed with our mission, becoming an integral part of  Poolesville and the surrounding community.
We hope to inspire in children a love of inquiry, a sustaining faith and a generous  spirit open to ideas, peoples of the world and a call to stewardship of God's  creation. We create a welcoming community, encouraging each individual to  grow in mind, body and spirit, grounded in the knowledge that everyone is a child of God.
