  • Shhh. We'll celebrate Pastor Alex's 5-year anniversary at Carmel at the end of each service. Check out how we'll be celebrating below!
SHHHHHH....It's a Surprise!

October is Pastor Appreciation Month and also happens to be Pastor Alex's 5-year anniversary serving at Carmel!

This Sunday, we'll surprise Pastor Alex at the end of each service with a special blessing.

And we'd like your help to make a bundle of Thank You cards part of that blessing!  Blank Thank You cards are located at all Welcome Desks and will be located at the Appreciation Station table set up in the Gathering Space during Midweek and on Sunday morning,   Notes can also be dropped in any Welcome Desk drop box throughout this week.

Given it is Pastor Appreciation Month, feel free to write any  of our pastors a note of thanks and we'll be certain to pass it on!

Evening of Empowerment
Thursday, November 9

Join us for an evening of stories, shopping and sweets to celebrate women empowering others to overcome poverty, oppression and trafficking. Be inspired and challenged by stories of empowerment from speakers including Anna Hampton, author and mom who spent a decade serving in Afghanistan.
Reformation DETOUR
October 29 - November 26

Pastor Alex takes a detour from the Root 66 series to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation - a 16th century event that changed church history forever. The landmark moment occurred in October of 1517 when a monk named Martin Luther posted 95 theses on a church door in the university town of Wittenberg, Germany. Over time the "5 Solas" have come to identify the heartbeat of what the Reformation was all about and our detour will explore the importance of these for us today.
