November music classes were all about Thanksgiving! We started class with yoga poses such as Turkey, Mayflower, and Pumpkin Pie! Then we sang Mr Turkey, 10 Little Turkeys, Turkey Hokey-Pokey and the always silly Turkey Tango! I am thankful everyday for getting to spend my days with your children! I am looking forward to the Sing-Along on Dec 6th and Christmas songs in December!

Greetings from Ann-Marie and Julie!
December is a wonderful month to work at St. David's School. All month long we get to experience the JOY and EXCITEMENT of Christmas through the eyes of a child. We get to watch
the children learn about and act out the night that Jesus was born. We get to hear the sound of Christmas carols from the classrooms. We get to see the children create special gifts for their parents. We get to work in an environment that is decorated for the holidays and is filled with happy people AND WE ARE BLESSED! We wish all of you a joyful Christmas season and hope that you can stop, breathe, and remember the Christ Child that this season is all about.

Butterfly Bunch Spots Available
Would your child enjoy spending a little extra time at school with friends to explore our outdoor classroom and activities? Butterfly Bunch is a 2-hour lunch enrichment program offered on Friday mornings or afternoons. Students in any of our 3's, 4's or Pre-K classes may participate. Please contact the Front Desk for more information.

Toys for Tots
POPS will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots this year. There will be a box in the preschool building as well as outside the door of the Ark.
We will be collecting toys until December 16th.

Reach Spirit Night-12/7
Reach is having a Spirit Night at Cava in Ashburn on Wednesday, December 7. St. David's will receive 10% of sales when you mention St. David's. Money raised will go toward the 2017 Mission Trip to Brownsville, PA.

Together in Education Program
This is a fundraiser that rewards our preschool when parents purchase certain Harris Teeter brand products.
We have earned over $245 so far this year!
You can Link your Harris Teeter Card. St. David's # is 6103. You can even link other schools as well. We get credit for purchasing Harris Teeter brands and prescriptions. POPS will even sign you up - just Email POPS with your info and we will plug it in!
