What is the Customer Engagement Initiative (CEI)?
You may have heard the acronym CEI in the past months, and noticed that our website has changed. This is all part of GSSSC launching a new customer support initiative, CEI, to better support girl and adult members. CEI will streamline the process to register for Girl Scouting, and will provide resources for troop management.  Click here to learn more and see how CEI will improve your Girl Scout experience!

What's Happening in STEM?
Using Resources Wisely at the Library
Want to do a STEM activity but don't know where to start? Treasure Valley libraries have many fun STEM related things you can check out, or attend. Here are some examples:

Netflix Helps Girl Scouts Become STEM Superstars!
Girl Scouts of the USA and Netflix have joined forces to empower young girls to envision their futures in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields. Centered on Project Mc2 , a Netflix original series, the collaboration takes STEM beyond the small screen with hands-on experiences for Girl Scout troops. The STEM Superstars Guide  is an online resource that encourages Girl Scouts across the country to discover just how exciting, fun, and rewarding STEM can be.

Leadership Guide
GSUSA and Disney have partnered together to create a Leadership Guide based off the new Disney show, Elena of Avalor. Like your girl, Elena might be young, but as crown princess of Avalor, Elena is learning to be a collaborative, communicative, and confident leader. By following Elena's adventures-and taking on a few of her own-your girl will uncover the leader within herself and feel empowered to help others do the same.
Making the World a Better Place
Volunteers needed for Jubilation 2018
Jubilation is a tri-annual, volunteer driven, council supported encampment since 2000. Jubilation 2018 may seem far away, but it is right around the corner for planning! They are looking for volunteers to help plan our event. You don't have to be a leader to help - parents, friends or acquaintances can help with this event. You just need to be an approved volunteer and support the Girl Scout Mission.
