Change The World is a day about educating and serving our community hosted by our friends and neighbors at
First United Methodist Church. On this day we come together as one faith, one community with one common goal of being the hands and feet of Jesus.
This
Saturday, October 21st from 11:00am until 2:00pm,
FPC will have a booth as part of the Community Service Fair. Come out and represent our church and enjoy the fellowship and great music...including our own Ambassador Choir. For more information about volunteering, contact John McCarthy HERE.
Men's Breakfast
This Saturday, October 21st @ 8:00am the men of the church are invited to join our pastor Billy Wade for breakfast and conversations on faith.
We are discussing the book Love Wins by Rob Bell.

Presbyterian 101
Each fall we offer a 4-week class on
"What it Means to Be a Presbyterian" for our newly elected class of elders as well as for anyone else who is interested in the theology (beliefs), polity (government), and history of the Presbyterian church. Classes will be taught by our pastor Billy Wade and other church elders on
Sunday mornings at 9:45 in the fellowship hall, October 22 and 29, November 5 and 12. Everyone is invited!
Trunk or Treat
On
Friday, October 27th from 6:00 until 8:00pm everyone is invited to join the children and families of our
Early Learning Center for an evening of Halloween fun!
Bring candy or other Halloween treats to share and park in the church parking lot at Brown and Clark Streets (across from the Fellowship Hall).
