The Town of Gilbert Fire Department has requested that all streetscape trees are trimmed to a height of 13 feet. For the safety of residents, the firetrucks need clearance in the neighborhood. Garbage and Recycling trucks need access to bins, as well. Please help support the Town of Gilbert Fire Department and trim up your streetscape trees as soon as possible.
The Fire Marshall has asked that all streetscape trees in The Grange be trimmed this month. Four Peaks Landscaping has offered to trim mesquite streetscape trees in the Grange for $100. The
registration link
will close on Friday.
The fine is $250 from the Town of Gilbert if your streetscape tree is not in compliance the first violation, and $500 if this is your second violation.

Avoid blue shoes and blue paws
|
Do you want to avoid blue shoes or blue paws on your four legged friend? During the next three weeks Four Peaks is spraying non- over seeded turf to prevent winter weeds. This spray contains a blue vegetable dye so landscapers can see which areas have been sprayed.
Eventually, as the grass is watered the dye will dissipate, but in the meantime if you walk in the grass your feet may become extremely smurf-like!
|
|
Four Peaks trim crews worked all week trimming all common area streetscape trees in The Grange and along Fenceline. Over 18 tons of tree branches were removed from 245 trees to complete the work requested by the Town of Gilbert.
Spot seeding was applied to all areas south of Germann to address trouble spots in the newly seeded winter rye.
The Orchards central park turf suffered as a result of vandalism over the past weekend. Irrigation valves responsible for watering the new seed were manually closed to a portion of the park. The watering has resumed, irrigation box lids were secured with screws, and the additional seed was installed.
In the Villages, the new rye turf was fertilized at the beginning of the week. Mowing of the small turf areas adjacent to the homes has resumed. Irrigation has been adjusted to a regular schedule now that the new turf is maturing.

Don’t wait to submit your Modification Application
|
Are you planning on painting your home? Please submit your Design Modification Application well in advance of your scheduled painting date. It can take up to seven business days to receive an approval, and waiting until the last minute to submit can result in a lost painting date or a missed deadline. You can submit up to 60 days in advance.
|
|
Did you paint without submitting an application?
|
While the Association appreciates your initiative in painting your home, all exterior painting, whether using existing colors or a preapproved paint scheme, requires the submittal of a Design Modification Application. Record of your approval becomes necessary in any future sales transactions, and also creates a record that tells us you have painted. If you do not apply, we will have to presume that you have not painted the exterior of your home.
The good news is that it is not too late. You can still submit your application, noting the scheme used and the date painted. We will note your account upon receipt.
