TO MOW OR NOT TO MOW, THAT IS THE QUESTION

What a Fall it has been!! We've had measurable rainfall in all but six days through the last month and a half. Our crews have been out there through all the rain doing their best to make the biggest impact with their time each week. The past 3 weeks have been mostly focused on leaf removal as that has been the heaviest leaf drop. Luckily, major leaf fall is coming to a close and as we make our weekly visit this week, we will be finishing up major leaf removal. There are some properties with trees still holding leaves so these properties will take a little longer to clean up as we can't remove the leaves until they drop.

Entering the major leaf fall period, lawns were longer than desired as the heavy rain in mid-October made mowing difficult and potentially damaging. We hope to mow now that major leaf removal is wrapping up but some lawns are still too soft due to the continuing rain. Consequently, we will continue to wait until dryer conditions to avoid damage. We are sorry for this but trying to mow and causing damage is definitely counter-productive.

Unfortunately, the forecast is for rain through the next 2 weeks:

Here's a few photos showing why we don't mow when it is too wet:
