HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
G.W. Robinson Elementary celebrated its ten year anniversary with the unveiling of a Peace Pole, a new mascot and a quilt outlining Robinson's special events over the years. Former students and staff, including the school's first principal Jim Stephens, gathered to hear the Ranger choir and enjoy the school's fall festival. 
STAR ATHLETES
Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team from Clear Creek High School and the varsity football team from Clear Brook High School on very successful seasons this year! The Lady Wildcats placed second in the state after a tough-fought championship game last week. The Wolverines from Clear Brook made it to the Regional Semifinals in the UIL State Football Championship. 
PAYING IT FORWARD
A group of students at Clear Springs High School used social media and word of mouth to collect baskets full of donated food and household items for families in need this Thanksgiving. Junior Grant Cameron put together this project after discussing ways to "pay it forward" during a dual-credit psychology class.

MOSSMAN GIVES BACK
Fifth grade students at Mossman Elementary donated gifts to send to less-fortunate children who might not, otherwise, receive anything for the holidays. They were able to fill more than 100 shoe boxes
SEABROOK ROBO-SPARTANS WIN BIG
Congratulations to the Seabrook Intermediate Robotics Team who won the "Design Award" at the recent Space City VEX Competition on November 19. This award recognizes the team who demonstrates an organized and professional approach to the design process, project management, time management and team organization. The Robo-Spartans competed against 24 other middle schools to come out victorious.
MUSTANGS GET SCHOOLED ON THE WEATHER
Meteorologist Britta Merwin from KPRC Channel 2 News visited with fourth and fifth grade students at League City Elementary and conducted two science experiments themed around weather. Principal Xan Wood also had the chance to speak on camera about the great things going on at the school. 
NASA VISITS WITH ASTRONAUTS
Interns from NASA Johnson Space Center recently hosted a day exploring space with McWhirter Elementary. Students were able participate in hands-on activity stations where they sampled what astronauts eat and learned about what they wear on a spaceship.

PHARMACY TECH FIELD TRIP
The pharmacy technician class from Clear Brook High School got a taste of the real-world during a field trip to the Pharmacy Compounding Centers of America.
