Thank you for signing up for weekly updates on bond & override projects within SUSD. We are committed to transparency through this process, and we welcome your feedback. Like you, we can't wait to see our new schools go up and our existing schools improve.
WEEKLY PROGRESS

Since last spring, we have been providing you with end-of-week wrap ups of bond and capital override activity, but this week, instead of looking back, we are looking ahead.

One week from today, two of our SUSD football teams will play their first home games on brand new fields, and we hope you will be there to cheer them on. But first, we invite you to take the first steps on the new turf!

Join us next Friday, September 1, for the grand opening of our new fields at Coronado and Saguaro high schools. 
  • The party starts at 5:00 pm at Coronado, where the community is invited to walk the field. Stay for a celebration with our teams, our marching band and our Coronado students. 
  • The excitement continues at 6:45 pm with a pre-game pep rally at Saguaro, where a formal ribbon cutting will open the new field just in time for kickoff.

A flyer will go out next week to our entire Scottsdale community, inviting them to attend these celebrations, but we wanted to extend the first invitation to those of you who have been following bond activity so closely. We hope to see you there!
