Congrats to our September Bright Spot Winners!
The Mustang Fun-Run fundraiser starts this week!!!
Parents! This year’s main fundraiser is the Mustang Fun-Run ! It’s a 9-day program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on October 18 . Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on October 27 .

This year, we are raising funds to provide Apple TV’s for all our classrooms, support the PTA sponsored school programs throughout the year and help the new elementary school and 6th grade center begin next year with some funding for programs for their students.

Now that all students are going to be given iPads in the district, Apple TV's will allow teachers additional resource options for the iPads.

“Apple TV users in the classroom enjoy moving about the classroom while actively controlling the presentation from their iPad. No longer are teachers trapped at the front of the classroom in order to share content with students or markup documents. Presenting directly from the iPad allows for circulation around the classroom and increased interaction with students.

Learners can also benefit directly from the installation of an Apple TV in the classroom. Teachers can request students share their work remotely through the Apple TV. With no cords to connect and disconnect, switching images requires nothing more than the user selecting the listed Apple TV from the airplay options on the iPad.

Like the teacher, student iPads are capable of presenting from anywhere in the room. This allows groups to report to the rest of the class, individuals to present from their seats, or the teacher selecting student work to share with others in the classroom.” From Teachthought.com

Keep your eyes out for the pledgebooks to come home Wednesday night!! We appreciate your support!

COSTUMES, ANYONE????
FROM THE COUNSELOR'S OFFICE

If you have Halloween costumes, fun hats, silly jewelry/accessories, wigs, etc., that you no longer need, please consider donating them to Bell Prairie.
The fall party in October supports students wearing costumes to the party. There are always some students who would LOVE to dress up with their classmates but don't have the means to bring one.

If you can help, send your items to school and have your student deliver them to Mrs. Stephenson or Mrs. Nielsen’s classrooms.

Thank you for being a part of the Bell Prairie Family!!!!
