EXPERIENCING THE INDUSTRY IN NY
Thirteen star students received the Experience the Industry scholarship. They were able to visit New York for HX: The Hotel Experience, North America's largest hospitality trade show for hotel and restaurant owners, executives, directors, chefs, and GMs from across the hospitality spectrum, and manufacturers and marketers of all things hospitality. Congratulations to Annie Le, Moji U nurbayasgalan, Tiziana Oggionni, Tracy Santos, Rachel Watts, Tina Aleagha, Akram Chahin, Manuel Hernandez Arenas, Franco Lossio Quilcate, Adrian Wong, Connie Chan, Melissa Huang, and Andria Antoniades! Also pictured here on the far left is 2016 graduate Daniel Macias who gave the group a tour of the W Times Square Hotel where he works as a front office agent.
 
STUDY ABROAD INFO SESSIONS
Collins College students interested in the 2017 Apicius Study Abroad program in Italy must attend an information session. The Apicius Study Abroad program includes learning about the cuisines, wines, history, language, and art of historic Italy in a 4-week program designed to cultivate an appreciation for Italian culture. There are two info sessions coming up: Nov. 29, 12-1 p.m. and Nov. 30, 1-2 p.m. in the Hilton Classroom. NSMH DOLLAR DAYS
Each quarter, NSMH hosts a Dollar Days community service event to support minority owned businesses in our community. This year they are partnering up with the delicious and trendy tea room, Zero X, on Thursday, Dec. 1. Additionally, 20% of proceeds will help bring NSMH members to National Conference 2017 in Florida (just mention "NSMH" at the register). Click here for more info.
MOVIE SOCIAL
Come join CPHA, UC & ABP on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. in room 80-100 for a movie social. Food will be provided. Invite your friends and don't forget to bring blankets and pillows!
ASEP TV TAPING
Come help ASEP fundraise by being part of a live studio audience! Students have the opportunity to watch a new CBS comedy called Superior Donuts. The taping will be held on Friday, Dec. 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Studio City. Anyone 18+ can come and carpooling is available. To sign up or for more information, email [email protected]
CHANGE OF MAJOR WORKSHOP
