Practices, games, scrimmages,  oh my!
Welcome Intro to Hockey!

RYH is happy to welcome 40+ families to our Intro program.  Come cheer on and say hi to our newest players on Wednesdays and Fridays at 5 PM.

U8 Red Mites: The Red Mites have been really busy playing hockey and having fun!  The team has a game MVP where one player is awarded a game puck for their effort.

U8 Maroon Mites: The Maroon Mites invaded the Manchester Monarchs.  Check out this picture of them in the locker room!  They are playing many cross ice jamborees and having a fun time.
U8 Blue Mites: The Blue Mites are playing in the Dover X-League as well as cross ice scrimmages across NH and ME.

The Blue Mites are off to a great start this year!  The progress the kids are showing in position play, puck handling and skating is amazing!  We look forward to watching them grow even more as the season continues!!
U10 Squirt 1: The Squirt 1 team has gone 7-8 for the season thus far, including 3-0 in the month of Oct for the Granite State League.  In Oct. they have put up 21 goals, 22 assists and 1 shut out.  The season has seen first time goals for several players and we look forward to watching each player improve as the season progresses!!
U8 Mite XL: The Mite XL team has played a great season thus far.

Their record is 4-1 for the season.  They have outscored their opponents 35 goals to 10 goals through the 5 games.

The players are doing great playing as a team and working on their positions.
New Member of the Board of Directors
My name is Abby Asciola and I'm very excited about becoming the newest member of the Rochester Youth Hockey board. My son has been a part of RYH at both the Intro and Mite levels over the past three years. Consequently, (fortunately) the rink has become my winter home and the many parents, children, and volunteers -  my winter family. When I'm not tying skates and trying to keep warm, I teach English at Gilford High School. My goal as a member of the board is to combine my knowledge in educating children and my experience as an RYH parent in order to best serve the needs of the RYH community. I look forward to playing a role in an organization that has already done so much for both me and my family.
